Grease VS Grease Live

MY REVIEW

I think The Movie is better than the live version. For example, I think the Movie is better because it has a slight sense of realism but not too much. It also just Flows better with the Character traits and roles in the movie than the Live and you can connect with the Characters in the movie. In contrast, though The Live Show Was More interactive and Family friendly. you could also connect to the energy and their personality. The difference between the two is important to me because it separates the realism with the fantasy and dream Realm.

Year 10 Art German Expressionism

Käthe Kollwitz
(German, 1867-1945):
Death and Tragedy

Kathe Kollwitz
(1867-1945)
An artist and woman of great courage.

Kathe Kollwitz Interesting Facts

  1. Her most famous art cycles, including The Weavers and The Peasant War, depict the effects of poverty, hunger, and war on the working class.
  2. Kathe was born in 1867 in Konigsberg, East Prussia (now Kalingrad in Russia).
  3. She studied art in Berlin and began producing etchings in 1880 In 1881 she married Dr Karl Kollwitz and they settled in a working class area of north Berlin. In 1896 her second son, Peter, was born.
  4. In 1914 her son Peter was killed in Flanders. The loss of Peter contributed to her socialist and pacifist political sympathies. In 1919 she worked on a commemorative woodcut dedicated to Karl Liebknecht, the revolutionary socialist murdered in 1919.

My Best Film Essay On 'The Power Of One'

Paragraph one through Four

In the movie “The Power of One” close up shots were used effectively. For example, the close-up shot of P.K’S face in the Hang him Up scene showing the Fear he felt about being caught and the bullies. This technique created an impact by helping us see that P.K was scared of bortha and the others. It also helped me see his sadness when They killed His chicken who he had befriended. The director did this to show the Fear pk felt and to engage us in the movie so we could understand and empathise how P.K was feeling. This aspect worked well with the limited lighting making the scene more ethereal and mysterious. This reminds me of a scene fairly similar to this on in a way that instead of pk it was bortha who was in the shadows with a closeup making it seem that he was angrier than he was and make him seem scarier.

Lighting throughout the movie was used in a phenomenal way. For instance, when the village was on fire in the last scene the orange glow in the darkness was radiating out and around objects making the scene more ominous. This technique created the feel of being in what P.K felt was hell and showing how 1 person could change the lives of a whole Race of people. The director did this to make us empathise for the Africans and show us how apartheid destroyed Africa. This aspect worked well with the dialogue “ you want to learn English, i’ll teach you English” said by botha in the final scene because it made the scene more intriguing and scary, engaging the audience more. This reminded me of a scene earlier in the movie where the Nazis burn down the race mixing boxing gym and sending the owner off to jail portraying pk as weak and useless.

The Dialogue and the way it was spoken  helped me understand what was going on throughout the movie. We see this when Sgt Boorman says “ you're just a bunch of s**t eaters, aren't you”. This was said in a certain tone making the words sound more impactful and mean. This shows that with a bit of a tone you can turn a innocent sentence into a harsh sentence that can be used to hurt someone. This was done to show how a tone can change the way you act and speak to people, even if you like them. This worked really well with the mysterious  weapon Sgt Boorman was holding making it seem his intent to hurt someone higher. This can be compared to an earlier scene where the men are all walking to their jobs with the guards hitting them with their weapons trying to get them to move faster.

The props in the movie made it Astronomically better and easier to understand. This is demonstrated when dibulu manzi was walking around banging his tribal staff on the ground around P.k. This makes it easier to understand the culture and how their lifestyle is compared to ours. This was done to give us a better understanding of the culture and the way things are done. This combined with dabulu manzis outfit really showed the culture off and made it really clear to see and understand. This reminds me of the Maori culture and the ways we like to show it off.

The Science Behind VIDEO GAMES

FNAF BITE

Questions To Be Answered:
  1. Can it Kill a Human?
  2. Can An Animatronics Jaw Crush a Human Skull?
  3. Why Did This Happen?
  4. How Did This Happen?
  5. Who Created the Animatronics?
Basic Answers:
  1. Yes
  2. Yes
  3. Because the Creator of the Robots Built Them For the Intention Of Murder
  4. Because other people lifted the crying child into Golden Fredbear
  5. William Afton AKA Purple Guy
More In-depth Answers/ The Science Behind It:
  1. Yes it can but it would need a lot of force on a small surface area compared to a larger surface area.
  2. Yes, And Here is how. Golden FredBear was in animatronic mode when this so called "Freak Accident" occurred so It cant have been a Springlock Failure. Now I Have Done some Research and All Animatronics Use the same Mechanism to Move. Pneumatic Actuators.* Actually The Same Ones That were used in The Shark Jaws. The Other Actuators that Are Placed Through out the Body Are Bigger Because They have to move Heavy Chunks of Metal and Fabric compared to the ones in the mouth that only have to move the mouth open and closed, The space also needs to be considered. The Pneumatic Actuators in the mouth are only a couple inches long and run on 40 Psi max.To Crush A Human Skull you need 1900 psi/ 13 Mega pascals, Witch means For every square metre of surface area it takes 13 million newtons of force to break it And to Fracture the skull you would need A 1,000 pound man (500kg woman) would need to step on your temples.

*A pneumatic control valve actuator converts energy (typically in the form of compressed air) into mechanical motion. The motion can be rotary or linear, depending on the type of actuator.
TBC!

Why Triangles Are Important In Building And Construction?

Why Triangles Are Important In Building And Construction?

Triangles are important Because you can use different materials to create tension and/or compression. When you want to build a house they put triangles in the roof to make the whole building stronger, because if you were to apply force on a house with a square roof it would cause the material to collapse whereas when force is applied to a triangle it will
One create compression
And Two create Tension along the bottom side.

If you Were to have a failure there are 5 Types.
1. Compression
2. Tension
3. Bending
4. Shear
5. Torsion
Image result for compression
1. Compression is when two forces are pushing against each other
2. Tension is two forces pulling against each other
3. Bending is where a force in the middle of say a piece of timber is acting against two forces on each end of the timber, as shown above.
4. Shear is where two forces, one at each end are acting

Musical Theatre-Little Shop Of Horrors

Monsters
In your own words, describe a monster.
A Monster in my mind is a person that want's to remove happiness from others. To other people, it can be a Sadist, A thin they fear or a green thing under your bed.
Who is the monster in Little Shop of Horrors? Why?
Orin the dentist. Because he finds injuring people fun and beats Audrey.
Is there more than one monster in the show?
Yes.
What is the difference between a good monster and a bad monster?
A good monster is - This is not actually a monster
Whereas A bad monster is- a bad person who doesn't like people.

So, in conclusion, the main monster is the plant but you can have many monsters by your definition but depending on what is classed as a monster.
